This weekend is causing a stir in the East Midlands with a fast growing reputation as THE event to attend on the calendar for 2024.
After the success of 2023, we are pleased to announce the return of The Belvoir Castle Run Races 2024 (as part of the Belvoir Castle Multisport Weekend).
With the same format as the LAST YEAR, the only change we will be making for 2024 is to add a 5km. The aim is to keep striving to make this event TRULY inclusive and there really is an option for EVERYONE! 🎉
Feel the history of the land and take in the sights of this atmospheric iconic estate and the best of British Countryside. The route starts in the centre of the epic estate's grounds, surrounded by ancient trees and pretty landmarks.
The course then takes you up close to the magnificent castle, running alongside scenic tree lined roads, sweeping down towards a small section of hard pack trail and grass. Back toward the castle, before turning right at the crossroads, heading towards the hill of the old driveway you will make the turning point at the old estate entrance. Here you will witness some flat sections with breath-taking, panoramic views of the countryside and the stunning view of Belvoir Castle.
Finally, down the hill and returning to finish your run with the Castle creating a momentous backdrop for your free finishers photo download.

The Half Marathon is open to runners that are 18 years or over on the day of the race.

09:30am: Start
Final information will be communicated to registered participants closer to race day.

↠ 7:30am: Bag Drops Opens
↠ Bag Drop Zone will be connected to Registration and hand over to the persons behind Registration.
↠ Recovery of your bag will require you to show your race number.

↠ At registration you will receive your race numbers with timing chips and have the option to drop a bag off.

↠ Prizes will be awarded to the fastest 3 Males & Females overall.
↠NO CUT OFF TIMES ↞
At Endorphin Sport Events, we do not impose cut off times as we understand the pressure it can put you under and we'd rather you enjoy the scenery and enjoy your event! This means you will receive an official time regardless.
↠ Please be mindful however, that we have the Kids Races on the Saturday afternoon so organisation will be in full swing for this from approx midday - marshals will be reporting back to Registration to assist in this. Signage will remain in place until we are sure ALL ENTRANTS have finished.
↠ In addition, it is at our discretion as the event organiser to consider the safety of all entrants, if we feel you are continuing at the detriment to your health or safety we may call it a day on your behalf.
